Until 6th January 2025:
- the reading rooms of the Special Collections and Austrian Library will be closed,
- the Library will operate in the following mode:

In the self-service mode:
- You can enter the Library only with a valid library card. UW students and staff can activate online their card as a library card at any time. If you are not a University member and do not have a valid library card, your first visit must be scheduled during the opening hours of the Registration Point.
- You can use our collections in the Open Stacks area, WiFi (BUW.Hotspot) and online resources.
- You can borrow books from the Open Stacks and the Textbook Collection, renew the return dates and pay fines in the Circulation Desk (on 30 and 31 December 2024, 9-16).
- You can pick up books ordered from the Closed Stacks in the Pick-up Locker 24 hours a day.
- You can return borrowed books to the Return Box or in Circulation Desk (on December 30-31, 2024 and January 2-3, 2025 from 9 am to 4 pm).
